Snowater Amenities

     
  The Clubhouse…amenities include

 

 
 

An indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, a dry sauna, and men’s and women’s changing rooms.  Two indoor handball/ racquetball and squash courts.  An adult (21-years and older) game room with pool table and ping-pong tables.  A lounge area with a fireplace and restrooms.  A mezzanine lounge and “Kid’s Corner” room.  An outdoor “Kid’s Corner” play area with a slide and maze.  Two outdoor tennis courts.  Large lounging decks for sunbathing.

 

The Clubhouse is open 14-hours per day, from 8:00am to 10:00pm, (at the sole discretion of the development manager) for your convenience and enjoyment.

 
     
  1.Adult Game Room and Lounge  
    General:  This area is set aside for the use and common enjoyment of persons 21-years of age and older ONLY, and includes a pool table and a ping-pong table.  There are also a couple of sets of tables & chairs for persons who wish to play board games or cards (not provided – bring your own).  The basic equipment (e.g. cue sticks, balls, paddles, etc.) is located in the game room area, and must not be removed from the game room area at any time.  

Rules:

 

a) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the game room area at any time.

b) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in the game room area at any time.

c) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

d) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated

 

     
  2. Dry Sauna:  
    General:  The dry sauna is located off of the hall, across from the changing rooms.  The light switch and temperature control/timer is located in the entryway to the sauna.

Rules:

 

a) The sauna is restricted to 10-persons at any one time.  Common courtesy must be extended to other persons who wish to use the facility.

b) Children under the age of 7-years are not permitted to use the sauna at any time.

c) Children 7-years of age and older must be accompanied and continuously supervised by an adult 21-years of age or older.

d) No nudity.  All persons must wear proper attire at all times.

e) Pregnant women and nursing mothers are cautioned against using the sauna.

f) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the sauna at any time.

g) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.           

 

     
  3. Hot Tub  
    General:  The hot tub is maintained at an average temperature of 102 degrees F. / 39 degrees C.  

Rules:

 

a) The hot tub is restricted to not more than 10-persons at any one time.  Common courtesy must be extended to other persons who wish to use the facility.

b) The hot tub is unsupervised, and there is no lifeguard on duty.

c) Pregnant women and nursing mothers are cautioned against using the hot tub.

d) Children under the age of  7-years are not permitted in the hot tub at any time (the higher temperature in the hot tub can cause the child’s bladder to involuntarily discharge and contaminate both the hot tub and the adjoining swimming pool.  This will cause the hot tub and swimming pool to be closed for an indefinite period of time until safe and sanitary limits are re-established.

e) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the hot tub area at any time.

f) Proper swimwear must be worn at all times (no cutoff shorts).

g) No air mattresses, inner tubes, or other floating devices or toys are permitted in the hot tub at any time.

h) A cleansing shower must be taken prior to entering the hot tub.

i) Persons with open sores and/or communicable diseases should not use the hot tub at any time.

j) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in or around the hot tub at any time.

k) No skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, bicycles, or scooters are permitted in the hot tub area at any time.

l) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

m) The introduction of oils, fragrances, soaps, and/or any other additives to the hot tub is strictly prohibited.  This action can clog-up the filtration system and cause the hot tub and adjoining swimming pool equipment to fail.

n) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

     
  4. The “Kid’s Corner” Play Areas (indoor & outdoor)  
    General:  These areas are set aside for the younger tots.  They include small furniture to fit younger children.  The spaces have been designed to accommodate their ages and needs.  Outside, there is play equipment specifically designed for their common use and enjoyment.  Admittance is obtained via the development manager during regular office hours (e.g. 10:00am to 5:00pm ).  

a) A housekeeping charge will be assessed if the facility is not cleaned-up following Guest use, and prior to returning the keys to the development manager’s office (not the Mt. Baker Lodging office!).

b) Direct adult supervision is required at all times.

c) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the Kid’s Corner areas at any time.

d) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in or around the Kid’s Corner areas at any time.

e) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

f) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

     
  5. Squash & Handball/Racquetball Courts (indoor)  
    General: Equipment (e.g. balls, racquets, gloves, etc.) are not provided – bring your own.  Eye guards must be worn at all times.  Adult supervision/instruction is required at all times.  Courts must be used for their intended purposes only – no horseplay.  Playing times may be booked on a first-come-first-served basis by using the sign-up roster located on the clip-board for each court.

Rules:

 

a) Only one court time may be reserved per condo, per day.

b) When other players are waiting to use the courts, the maximum allowable time for court use is 30-minutes.

c) Proper footwear is required at all times.  Hard sole shoes are not permitted.

d) Players are responsible for determining that the courts are safe to use, and free from any dangerous foreign material.

e) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the court areas at any time.

f) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in the court areas at any time.

g) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

h) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

i) No skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, bicycles, or scooters are permitted in the court areas at any time

 

     
  6. Sun Bathing Area  
    General:  There are two sun bathing areas that adjoin The Clubhouse.  One location is the deck area on the roof the overlooks the handball/racquetball courts.  Access to this area is just outside and to the left of the main entrance to The Clubhouse.  The other location is just outside of the swimming pool area.  Access to this location is via the changing rooms, then along the edge of the swimming pool and on through the doors to the concrete deck.  This area is fenced.  Just back through the swimming pool area is a shower…should you decide to use the swimming pool!

Rules:   

 

a) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the sun bathing areas at any time.

b) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in the sunbathing area at any time.

c) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

d) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated

 

     
  7. Swimming Pool  
    General:  The swimming pool is maintained at an average temperature of 84 degrees F / 29 degrees C

Rules:

 

a) The swimming pool is unsupervised and there is no lifeguard on duty.

b) Children ages 12-years and younger must be supervised and in the continuous accompaniment of an adult ages 21-years or older.

c) Children in diapers are not permitted in the swimming pool at any time.

d) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the swimming pool area at any time.

e) Proper swimwear must be worn at all times (no cutoff shorts).

f) No air mattresses or inner tubes or toys are permitted in the swimming pool at any time.

g) No diving is permitted in the swimming pool at any time.

h) A cleansing shower must be taken prior to entering the swimming pool.

i) Persons with open sores and/or communicable diseases should not use the swimming pool at any time.

j) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in or around the swimming pool at any time.

k) Lounge furniture is not permitted in the swimming pool at any time.

l) No skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, bicycles, or scooters are permitted in the swimming pool area at any time.

m) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

n) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

o) No more than 80-persons are permitted to use the swimming pool at any one time. 

 

     
  The Recreation Buildingamenities include:  
 

An indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, men’s and women’s changing rooms, two indoor handball/racquetball courts, a fitness room, a family game & recreation room with pool table and ping-pong table, a mezzanine lounge, and a lounging deck for sunbathing.

 

The Recreation Building is open 14-hours per day, from 8:00am to 10:00pm , 7-days per week, (at the sole discretion of the development manager) for your convenience and enjoyment.

 
     
  1. Family Game Room  
    General:  This area includes a pool table and ping-pong table.  Equipment (e.g. pool cues, balls, and paddles) are available from the Snowater front office (located adjacent to the development entrance) during regular office hours, from 10:00am to 5:00pm .  Although there is no charge to use the equipment, a $5.00 deposit along with a valid driver’s license, state/provincial ID card, or military ID is required to check-out the equipment.  Equipment may be signed out for a period of up to 2-hours, (maximum) and must be returned to the Snowater office (not the Mt. Baker Lodging office!) prior to closing time.  Upon return of all equipment, (in clean and good condition) the $5.00 deposit will be refunded.

a) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the game room area at any time.

b) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in the game room area at any time.

c) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

d) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

     
  2. Fitness Room:  
   

General:  This area is set aside for the use and common enjoyment of persons 21-years of age and older ONLY.

Equipment consists of two stationary bicycles, one stair stepping machine, one treadmill, one weight machine, one weight scale, a jumping rope, and other equipment.  If you have any questions regarding the proper operation of the equipment, please contact the Snowater front office (located next to the development gate entrance) during regular business hours, 10:00am to 5:00pm

Rules:

 

a) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the exercise room area at any time.

b) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in the exercise room area at any time.

c) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

d) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

e) Movable equipment is not to be removed from the exercise room at any time.

 

     
  3.Hot Tub  
    General:  The hot tub is maintained at an average temperature of 102 degrees F. / 39 degrees C

  5. Sun Bathing Area  
    General:  There is a lounging/sun bathing area that adjoins the outside main entrance to The Recreation Building.  During summer months, adjustable chaise lounge chairs are provided for your comfort and convenience!    

Rules:

 

a) No food, beverages, glassware, smoking, or chewing gum is permitted in the sun bathing areas at any time.

b) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted in the sunbathing area at any time.

c) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

d) Appropriate social behavior is required at all times.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated

 

     
  6. Swimming Pool

  Other Amenities include:  
     
   
  Tennis Courts  
   

General:  There are two sets of tennis courts.  One set is located near the Club House, and the other is located near the Adult Center/Heritage Log Cabin (this facility for owner use only).  Equipment (e.g. racquets & balls) are not provided – bring your own.  Proper foot ware is required (no hard sole shoes).  Adult instruction/supervision is required.  Court must be used for its intended purpose only – no horseplay.  No glassware is permitted within the confines of the perimeter fence that surrounds the tennis court area.  For safety reasons, courts are closed during the winter months.

 

The courts that are located near The Clubhouse are available with a 1-hour reservation period per condo per day via a reservation sign-up roster that is located on clip boards at the entrance to the courts.

 

The courts that are located near the Adult Center/Heritage Log Cabin are considered “open” courts, and are available on a first-come-first-served basis BUT, must change all players on the hour, when others are waiting!

Rules:

 

a) Hours of operation: 8:00am to 9:00pm (or dusk, whichever occurs first) for your convenience and enjoyment.

b) Addresses may not appear more than once at any given time on the waiting list and court combined.

c) Remove your name / address from waiting list upon completion of set.

d) No skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, bicycles, or scooters are permitted within the confines of the perimeter fence that surrounds the tennis courts.

e) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

f) Appropriate social behavior is required.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

g) No climbing on the perimeter fence that surrounds the tennis court areas.

 

     
  Sports Court  
    General:  There is one sports court.  One half of the court is lined for basketball.  The other half is lined for volleyball, badminton, pickle ball, paddleball, and inline skating only.  Equipment (e.g. balls, paddles, etc.) are not provided – bring your own.  Proper footwear is required – no hard sole shoes.  Area facilities are to be used for their intended purpose only – no horseplay.  No glassware is permitted on or around the court area. Adult instruction/supervision is required at all times. 

Rules:

 

a) Hours of operation: 9:00am to 9:00pm (or dusk, whichever occurs first) for your convenience and enjoyment.

b) Common courtesy must be extended to other players that wish to use the facilities.

c) No skateboards, roller skates, bicycles, or scooters are permitted on the court areas.

d) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

e) Appropriate social behavior is required.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

     
  Play Field  
    General:  There is a family play field located behind the Recreation Building and adjoining the Sports Court .  The area includes picnic tables, charcoal barbeques, (charcoal not provided) and horseshoe pits…all of which are available on a first-come-first-served basis.  The play field is to be used for its intended purposes only.  No glassware is permitted on the play field area.  Horseshoes, soccer balls, basketballs and other various equipment can be checked-out from the Snowater front office (located adjacent to the development gate entrance) during regular office hours, from 10:00am to 5:00pm .  Although there is no charge to use the equipment, a $5.00 deposit along with a valid driver’s license, state/provincial ID card, or military ID is required to check-out the equipment.  Equipment must be returned to the Snowater office (not the Mt. Baker Lodging office!) prior to closing time.  Upon return of all equipment, (in clean and good condition) the $5.00 deposit will be refunded.

Rules:

 

a) Hours of operation: 9:00am to 9:00pm for your convenience and enjoyment (at the sole discretion of the development manager).

b) Common courtesy must be extended to other persons that which to use the facilities.

c) No bicycles or scooters are permitted on the grounds that encompass the facilities.

d) All fires in barbeques must be extinguished upon vacating the premises.

e) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.  Trash containers are provided for this purpose.

f) Appropriate social behavior is required.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

g) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted on the play field area at any time.

 

     
  Trails and Paths  
    General:  A network of nature trails and pathways weave their way through the development.  They are intended for use by pedestrians, joggers, and handicapped persons only.  The following guidelines apply:

Rules:

 

a) Bicycles, mopeds, scooters, motorcycles and/or any other self-propelled or motor driven vehicles are strictly prohibited.

b) Common courtesy must be extended to other persons that share the facilities.

c) All personal trash must be picked-up and properly discarded.

d) Appropriate social behavior is required.  Loud and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

e) No rough play (horseplay) is permitted on the play field area at any time.
