View the gorgeous scenery at your own pace. Mt. Baker hosts multiple hiking trails, from easy stretches to "experienced only" trekking. The Pacific Crest trail goes right through the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie Forest. Check out the trail conditions here. Or Mt. Baker Hiking Club and take guided hikes or just to meet fellow hikers! With miles of hiking trails, streams and exquisite views, hundreds of species of flowering plants, trees and ferns in varying ecosystems will delight and educate families and groups to the bounty of nature. Suzanne Nagler Harris, your guide, is a naturalist, herbalist, wildcrafter and director of herbal studies at the Cedar Mountian Herb School. She will open your eyes to wild edible and medicinal plants from the deepest root to the tallest tree. Stand in awe as you gaze at ssome of the few remaining old growth trees in the Mount Baker Recreational Area. | The Nooksack river is one of the last "wild" rivers in Washington state. Five species of wild salmon swim and flourish is it's waters. Mount Baker hosts Silver Lake which is stocked with trout.
